By visiting or making a purchase from the Site, you ("Customer") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legally binding contract under the laws of your country of residence.
3. Products and pricing
All product descriptions, ingredients, weights, and prices on the Site are provided in good faith. Prices are shown in EUR (for EU delivery markets) or GBP (for the United Kingdom), according to your delivery market, and include any applicable VAT for the destination country. We reserve the right to correct pricing or stock errors before order acceptance.
3a. Pre-contractual information summary
In accordance with Article 6 of Directive 2011/83/EU and Article 6:230m of the Dutch Civil Code, before you place an order we provide:
- The main characteristics of the product, on the product page.
- Our identity, geographic address, telephone (where available), and email - see §1 above.
- The total price including all taxes and, where applicable, all additional shipping, delivery, postal, and any other costs - shown at checkout before you confirm payment.
- Arrangements for payment, delivery, performance, and the time by which we undertake to deliver - see our Shipping Policy.
- Our complaint-handling policy - by email to hello@pranasalt.com; we acknowledge within 2 business days and aim to resolve within 14 days.
- The right of withdrawal, the conditions, time-limit, and procedures for exercising it, and the model withdrawal form - see our Refund Policy and the form linked there.
- The exception in Art. 6:230p(f)(3°) BW for sealed goods not suitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed after delivery.
- The legal guarantee of conformity (Art. 7:17 BW, two years) - see §9 below.
- For subscriptions: the duration of the contract, the conditions for terminating it, and the total cost over the contract period - see §6 below.
- The possibility of recourse to out-of-court complaint and redress mechanisms - see §11.
4. Orders and contract formation
Placing an order is an offer to purchase. The contract is formed when we send the order confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel an order if we cannot fulfil it (out of stock, suspected fraud, delivery to a region we do not serve).
5. Payment
Payment is processed at checkout by our payment providers. We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. Subscription orders are billed automatically each renewal cycle until cancelled.
6. Subscriptions
If you place a subscription order, the contract is of indefinite duration. The total recurring cost is the price displayed at checkout for the recurring delivery (currently €60 per month for EU delivery markets, or £50 per month for the United Kingdom, including applicable VAT; the VAT applied for your country is shown at checkout under our OSS registration for EU destinations). Shipping, where charged, is added at checkout.
Monthly plan: each renewal is automatically charged to your original payment method every month, with the next-shipment ETA shown on your account dashboard.
Three-month prepay plan: you are billed €168 (or £141 for the United Kingdom) every three months, covering three monthly boxes - 25% below the one-time price, an effective €56 (£47) per month. The plan renews automatically each quarter until cancelled; cancel any time before the next renewal using the channels described below.
How to cancel: you may pause, modify, skip, or cancel a subscription at any time, with no fee, by:
- logging into your account at pranasalt.com and using the "Manage subscription" panel; or
- emailing hello@pranasalt.com from the email address on your account.
Cancellation takes effect immediately for any renewal that has not yet been charged. We will send an email confirming cancellation within one business day; if you do not receive it, please write again.
This subscription clause does not affect your right of withdrawal under §8 below.
7. Delivery
See our Shipping Policy for countries served, delivery times, and costs. Risk of loss passes to the Customer on delivery.
8. Right of withdrawal (EU 14-day cooling-off)
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and Article 6:230o of the Dutch Civil Code, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving a reason - see our Refund Policy for details and the perishable-goods exception.
9. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. To the extent permitted by Dutch law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the Site is limited to the price paid for the product giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in this clause limits or excludes your statutory rights as a consumer, including (without limitation) the legal guarantee of conformity for two years (Art. 7:17 and 7:18 BW), the right of withdrawal (Art. 6:230o BW), liability for defective products (Art. 6:185 BW), or any other rights that cannot be excluded by Dutch consumer protection law.
10. Intellectual property
All content on the Site (text, images, logos, the PRANASALT word mark - registered EU TM 019263084 and UK TM UK00004282112) is owned by PranaSalt B.V. or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. Personal, non-commercial use is permitted; reproduction or commercial use without written consent is not.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Where you are a consumer resident in another EU Member State, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you have your habitual residence (Article 6(2) Regulation (EC) No 593/2008, Rome I).
Disputes will first be handled by direct contact (hello@pranasalt.com). If unresolved, consumers may turn to the certified alternative dispute resolution (ADR) bodies available in their country of residence; national consumer authorities publish lists of certified ADR bodies. (The European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 and is no longer available.)
Otherwise, disputes may be brought before the courts of Amsterdam. If you are a consumer domiciled in an EU Member State, this does not limit your right to bring proceedings in the courts of the Member State where you are domiciled, and proceedings against you may be brought only in the courts of that Member State (Articles 18-19 of Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012).
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified on the Site at least 14 days before they take effect.
