FAQ

Real answers to the questions people actually ask. If yours isn't here, write to hello@pranasalt.com and we'll add it.

The product

What's in one sachet, and how big is it?+

Each stick-pack sachet contains roughly 1g of Pranasalt blend. That's about a generous pinch, designed to season one cooked dish for one to four people.

How much is in the box?+

The 150-sachet retail box contains 150 stick-pack sachets, net weight 150g total.

How long does a 150-box last?+

Depends on how much you cook. At one to two sachets per cooked dinner, a box covers roughly 75 to 150 dinners. Most customers go through a box in 2-3 months at typical use.

What's actually in it? (full ingredient list)+

95% Himalayan pink salt, 5% spices including chili, fenugreek, mango powder, mustard, asafoetida (contains wheat flour), and sesame.

That's it. No flavour enhancers, no anti-caking agents, no MSG, no "natural flavouring".

What about sodium? Isn't this just salt?+

Yes, it's still salt. The blend is 92g salt per 100g of product. We don't sell this as low-sodium and we won't pretend otherwise. The point is replacing your existing salt-and-spice routine, not eating more salt overall. If your doctor has put you on a low-sodium diet, talk to them before changing seasonings.

Allergens?+

The blend contains mustard, wheat flour (carrier within commercial asafoetida), and sesame. These are flagged on the box per EU 1169/2011 Annex II.

Asafoetida itself is not a regulated allergen.

The product is produced in a facility that handles other spices. If you have a severe allergy, please contact us before ordering.

Vegan, vegetarian, kosher, halal?+

Pranasalt is a blend of Himalayan salt and six plant spices - no animal-derived ingredients, no alcohol, suitable for vegan, vegetarian and plant-based diets.

We are not halal- or kosher-certified: if you keep strict halal or kosher, please check the full ingredient list on the box and decide what fits your practice.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding, kids?+

It's salt and spice. Treat it the way you'd treat any other seasoning in your kitchen. We make no medical claims about who should or shouldn't use it. If you have specific dietary concerns during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or for young children, ask your doctor.

Shelf life and storage?+

Best before: see the date printed on the box ("Best before end", month/year). Store cool and dry.

Subscription

How does the subscription work?+

Subscribe and pay €60 a month (UK: £50) instead of €75 (£63) one-time. That's 20% off, free shipping included on every renewal, no contract.

Is there a longer plan?+

Yes - the 3-month prepay. You are billed €168 (UK: £141) every three months for three monthly boxes, which works out 25% below the one-time price - €56 (£47) a month effective. It renews quarterly; cancel any time before the next renewal.

Can I cancel?+

Yes, anytime. From your account page, or by emailing hello@pranasalt.com. No questions, no retention call, no friction.

Can I skip a month or change the frequency?+

Yes, both. Skip the next renewal or switch to every 6 / 8 / 12 weeks from your account page.

When is my next shipment?+

One month from your initial order, then every month unless you change the frequency. We send a reminder email 3 days before each renewal so you can skip or pause.

Shipping, returns, payments

Where do you ship?+

UK and EU-wide from launch. US and Canada from 2027. See the Shipping Policy for full country list and times.

How long does delivery take?+

Netherlands: 1-3 business days. Rest of EU: 3-7 business days. Tracked, with a tracking number sent by email when your order ships.

What if I don't like the taste?+

Every box comes with a 30-day taste-it guarantee. If it doesn't earn its place on your plate, email hello@pranasalt.com within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, opened or not. See our Refund Policy for details.

What if my parcel is damaged or lost?+

What payment methods do you accept?+

All major cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, iDEAL (NL), Bancontact (BE), and SEPA bank transfer for EU customers.

What currency and VAT?+

Prices are shown in EUR by default and are inclusive of VAT at the destination-country rate (via EU One-Stop-Shop). UK prices are shown in GBP inclusive of UK VAT.

The boring honest answer

Why is it expensive?+

Count it per meal. One sachet seasons one cooked dish, so the one-time box works out at about €0.50 (roughly 42p) a meal, and the monthly subscription at about €0.40 (roughly 33p). For that you get rock-mined Himalayan salt and six spices, roasted, milled to an exact ratio, and sealed one gram at a time in an FSSC 22000-certified facility, so the last sachet tastes like the first. We sell direct, shipping included. The price is what that precision costs to make well.
